    Candice Lanzoni

    PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

πŸŽ€ Why Miles for Moms? πŸŽ€
β€œI started Miles for Moms to help financially support my mom while she fighting breast cancer for a second time and I was abroad in Hong Kong. Over the past few years the event has grown larger across the world and allowed us to run more and more Miles for Moms.”

πŸŽ€ Who do you run for? πŸŽ€
β€œI run to support those who are fighting breast cancer, who have survived breast cancer, and their loved ones. One of the goals of Miles for Moms is to help relieve the financial burden of breast cancer. Those battling breast cancer should not need to worry about the associated costs that insurance may not cover when they pursue the best care possible.”

  • Kelley Re

    VICE PRESIDENT

πŸŽ€ Why Miles for Moms? πŸŽ€
β€œI've had a soft spot for Miles for Moms ever since hearing Candice and her mom's story. But then it really hit home when someone close to me was diagnosed, followed by my own diagnosis a couple years later. Going through fertility preservation, chemotherapy, surgery and radiation was the hardest year of my life. I'm deeply grateful that M4M supported me throughout; it made such a huge difference. I'm committed to raising awareness and helping others affected by breast cancer because no one should go through it alone. It's the worst club to join, but it has the best members."

πŸŽ€ Who do you run for? πŸŽ€
β€œI run for myself, and for the 1 in 8 women out there who will be diagnosed in their lifetime. I run because I never want to take my body for granted and if it helps raise awareness and ease the financial burden of treatment for others, that makes it even better.”

πŸŽ€ Why Miles for Moms? πŸŽ€
β€œThe more strides we take, the more we can help each other. I support M4M because whether you run, walk, or jog, this organization brings people together to support women fighting breast cancer, ensuring they receive financial assistance needed for treatment and recovery.”

πŸŽ€ Who do you run for? πŸŽ€
β€œI run to help women fighting breast cancer and let them know there are brighter roads ahead.”

    Kelly Bartkus

    SECRETARY

πŸŽ€ Why Miles for Moms? πŸŽ€

β€œI have been excited to run this race since I stepped off the course last year. Being able to run at such a beautiful location while raising money for such a great cause is unbeatable. The team does an incredible job putting on such a well thought out event from the pre-race fuels to the beautifully hand crafted medals!”

πŸŽ€ Who do you run for? πŸŽ€

β€œRunning is more than just a form of exercise. For me, it is a way to give back. I have been involved in many charity races as a way to raise awareness and support for such important causes. We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer so this is an organization that I will continue to support year after year!”
